Fastened and Drift Nets (Salmonid Safety) Byelaw 2021

Discover is hereby given: Cornwall Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority (Cornwall IFCA) intends to use to the Minister for the Division for the Setting, Meals and Rural Affairs for the affirmation of the Fastened and Drift Nets (Salmonid Safety) Byelaw 2021.

Byelaw: The Fastened and Drift Nets (Salmonid Safety) Byelaw 2021 has been proposed to offer safety to salmon and sea trout from unintended bycatch in each fastened and drift nets that are utilized in coastal waters to focus on sea fish species. The brand new byelaw will prohibit, and in some circumstances, prohibit using fastened and drift nets in particular areas across the Cornish shoreline.
